A lathe is a machining tool that is used primarily for shaping metal or wood. It works by rotating the workpiece around a stationary cutting tool. The main use is to remove unwanted parts of the material, leaving behind a nicely shaped work piece
A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lab is a specialized facility for training and production, focusing on manufacturing precision parts using automated machine tools like mills and lathes. These labs typically feature industrial-grade CNC machines (e.g., Vertical Machining Centers, Turning Centers), CAD/CAM software, and simulation tools to teach CNC programming, G-code/M-code, and machining operations.
An Automobile Lab is a specialized facility for training and research, focusing on the design, operation, and maintenance of vehicle components. These labs typically feature cut-section models of engines, transmissions, chassis, and braking systems, allowing students to study, disassemble, and test components like petrol/diesel engines, gearboxes, and electrical systems.
