The College has a fleet of new buses as to cater the transportation needs of students and staff. They are servicing from prominent places all over the city to the college. The transportation wing always aims for safety of the students and staff and hence experienced set of drivers are employed to do this service.

Transport Rules and Regulations

Rules:

1. Ragging is strictly prohibited inside the bus.
2. If any student involve in ragging, his / her bus facility will be withdrawn after proper enquiry.
3. Students should not play music through any means which disturbs fellow passengers.
4. Students must board the bus at the respective stop as allocated by the Transport Department.
5. Students are prohibited to communicate with the driver for any matters.
6. All sorts of problems must be communicated only to the Transport Officer and necessary actions will be taken.
7. In case of non arrival of bus, students can wait for the alternate arrangements provided by the Transport Department.
8. Any sort of financial transactions are not allowed inside the bus with the driver.
9. Celebrations related to birthday or towards any such matters should be strictly avoided inside the bus.
10. Music system is prohibited in the bus.
11. Students are advised to give respect and preference to the Staff members in seating inside the bus.
12. Totally 9 buses are being operated in different routes and boarding time will vary depending upon the location and distance.
13. All are advised to come and wait for the bus at the irrespective bus stop 5to10 minutes well in advance.

Regulations:

14. College bus facility is an optional service provided for the Staff members and students who wish to come as a day-scholar.
15. For all the students, College bus fee is applicable for every Academic year only.
16. Bus fee is non-refundable unless otherwise genuine reason is specified.
17. For Teaching Staff Members, College bus facility is provided with a concessional rate.
18. Non Teaching staff and Ministerial Staff are exempted from bus fee. For Staff members, bus fee is received on semester basis. After the payment of bus fee, a bus pass will be issued.
19. Bus pass must be available during their journey and random verification is being done by the Transport Officer and Transport Assistant.
20. A warning will be given to the students who don’t have bus pass. If repeated, a nominal fine will be imposed.
21. Usage of bus facility without proper payment will lead to a fine of Rs.1,000/-
22. During the Academic year, students can change the place of boarding with written consent signed by the parent. A new bus pass will be provided.
23. Hostellers are exempted from bus fee but must carry a bus pass during travel.
